The Pvt Terra Band, was organized for the purpose of playing exclusively originals, 2 + years ago By me,
Peter Privitera, writer, guitar, and vocalist. The drummer Frank Gallant and guitarist,Ray Crowell, who I have played with for approx 15 years in copy bands etc, liked what they heard and wanted to be part of the new band. Our bass player, Tim Treacy, has been with us for approx 1 1/2 years. And of course our producer/engineer, Adam Muzillo, where words can not tell you how important he has been to our band!!
I am originally from Brooklyn New York and have been in florida for 26 yrs. I had a record contract a number years ago with mercury records, however,due to my brother, who was the leader of our band, passing the contract was no more. I did make a promise that I would never give up and here I am !,
The songs are a stories of my life, my relationships and anything else that would impact my life. I would prefer that my music speaks for itself then me speaking for it! We have started our journey and am getting very positive results. Getting the music out, however, is where we need management . Our genre would be rock/pop ?
Some of my influences would be, Eric Clapton, Leslie West, Johnny Winters, BB king, Albert King, and a host of others. I would like to think that my band sounds like, my band !
