2014 South Dade Food and Country Festival

Florida Rock Stars presented the second annual South Dade Food and Country Festival on Saturday September 6, 2014 at the Harris Field Pavilion in Homestead, Florida.

This year’s event helps raise awareness and funding for a local Homestead college scholarship fund and brings South Dade fans together in a special country extravaganza featuring fantastic food and music.

The event features some of the finest local bands in South Florida and showcases some of the best food around, including amazing seafood, killer barbecue and loads of other tasty foods served up by local gourmet restaurants.  Cash bars, with top shelf liquor, and other vendors and exhibitors help round out the festival experience.  Finally, the event includes a special raffle to help raise money for great causes.

From West Palm Beach to Miami, the event showcases some of the best bands in the Florida country music scene.  Featured at this year’s show are Homestead’s own super star, Jade Sanders, as well as Cowboy Up Band, Cecilia Lauren and the Ocoee River Band, the Warren Silvers Band, the Grayson Rogers Band, and Nashville recording artist, the Tom Jackson Band.

Gates open 3 pm and the show runs from 3:30 pm to 11 pm.  No coolers – RAIN OR SHINE. General Admission tickets are $30 available online here at www.floridarockstars.com.
